Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the platform operated at Gigvault.uk ("Gigvault.uk", which may be referred to interchangeably throughout these Terms as "Gigvault", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Gigvault.uk.
Gigvault.uk is an online platform that connects live music acts (bands, solo artists, DJs, comedians, and other performers) with pubs, bars, and music venues across the UK. We provide the tools for discovering talent, managing bookings, processing deposits, and facilitating communications — but we are not a party to any booking agreement between an artist and a venue.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on Gigvault.uk. By registering, you confirm that:
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, please submit a support request immediately.
Email verification: Artist accounts require email verification before you can access platform features. When you register, we send a verification link to the email address you provide. You must click this link within 24 hours to activate your account. If the link expires, you may request a new one from the verification prompt. You will not be able to go live, receive booking requests, or access your dashboard until your email is verified.
Mobile phone number: A valid mobile phone number is required for all accounts. This is used for account security and, where applicable, booking-related communications.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, fail to complete verification, or cause harm to other users of the platform.
Gigvault facilitates bookings between artists and venues, but the booking agreement is solely between the artist and the venue. Gigvault is not responsible for the performance, quality, or fulfilment of any booking.
If you are signed to a record label, management company, booking agency, or are otherwise subject to an exclusive representation or booking agreement, by creating an artist account and accepting bookings through Gigvault you confirm that:
Gigvault is not a party to, and has no visibility of, any management or representation agreement you may hold. We accept no liability for any claim, loss, or dispute arising from a conflict between your use of the platform and a pre-existing contractual obligation. You agree to indemnify and hold Gigvault harmless against any claim brought by a third party (including a label, manager, or agent) arising from your use of the platform in breach of such an agreement.
Gigvault uses Stripe to process payments securely. By making or receiving a payment, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.
We are not responsible for payment failures caused by your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the start of the booked event. Once within the 24-hour window, the cancellation option is disabled and no cancellation can be made through the platform.
Gigvault reserves the right to cancel bookings in exceptional circumstances (e.g. fraud, policy violations) and will handle refunds at our discretion in such cases.
If a dispute arises between an artist and a venue (e.g. a no-show, late cancellation, or payment issue), either party may raise a dispute through the platform within 14 days of the event date.
By uploading content to Gigvault (including profile photos, videos, descriptions, reviews, and messages), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content on the platform and across our social media channels. You confirm that:
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms without notice. Where content is removed for a policy violation, we will notify the account holder where it is safe and practicable to do so.
You must not use Gigvault to:
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban.
Venues listed on Gigvault may be sourced from public data. If you claim a venue, you confirm that you are an authorised representative of that venue. Submitting a false claim is a breach of these Terms and may result in legal action.
Artists are responsible for keeping their profile information, pricing, and availability up to date. Going live on the platform represents that you are available and willing to accept bookings. Gigvault is not liable for bookings accepted when the artist has not updated their availability correctly.
We aim to keep Gigvault available at all times, but we may temporarily take the platform offline for maintenance. We will display a notice during scheduled downtime where possible. We are not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability of the platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Gigvault shall not be liable for:
Our total liability to you in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Gigvault in the 12 months preceding the claim.
All content, branding, and software on Gigvault (excluding user-submitted content) is owned by us and protected by UK copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
By using Gigvault you agree to the placement of essential cookies required for the platform to function. Optional cookies (Marketing, Personalisation, Analytics) are only placed with your explicit consent via our Cookie Preference Centre. You can manage your preferences at any time. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or via a platform notice at least 14 days before changes take effect where practicable. Your continued use of Gigvault after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
