Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Gigvault.uk.

Getting Started
Gigvault is the UK's live music booking platform connecting bands and musicians with pubs, bars, and venues. Bands can list their profile and get discovered; venues can search and book acts directly through the platform.
Creating a profile and browsing the platform is free. Gigvault charges a small platform fee (added on top of the deposit) only when a booking is confirmed and a deposit payment is made.
Click Register in the top navigation. Currently registration is open for bands and musicians. Venues can claim their listing via the venue profile page.
Yes — find your venue in our listings and click "Claim This Venue" on the venue profile page. Once claimed and verified by our team, you'll have full access to the venue dashboard.
Bookings
Either a venue sends a booking request to a band, or a band can request a gig at a venue. The other party accepts or declines. Once accepted, the venue pays a deposit to confirm the booking. The remaining fee is settled on the gig day directly.
Each band sets their own deposit percentage (e.g. 20–50% of the agreed fee). The deposit is paid through the platform at the time of booking confirmation and held securely.
Gigvault charges a platform fee of 10% of the deposit amount. This is added on top of the deposit when the venue pays. It covers payment processing and platform running costs.
Bookings can be cancelled before a deposit has been paid without charge. Once a deposit is paid, cancellation policies apply and disputes may be raised if the band does not perform.
Venues can raise a deposit dispute through the booking page. Our admin team will review the dispute and, if upheld, process a full or partial refund of the deposit.
For Bands
Register an account and complete your band profile — add a bio, genre, location, photos, and videos. Your profile will appear in search results immediately.
Featured bands are selected by the Gigvault admin team. To be considered, make sure your profile is complete with high-quality images and videos. You can also contact us to express interest.
In your band dashboard under Profile, you can toggle your availability on or off. You can also block specific dates using the diary feature so venues only see you as available on open dates.
The deposit is held by the platform and paid out to your account after the gig is completed. The remaining balance is agreed and paid directly by the venue on the night.
For Venues
Find your venue in the listings and click "Claim This Venue". Fill in the claim form and our team will verify your ownership — usually within 24 hours.
We regularly discover venues across the UK via our automated system. If your venue isn't listed yet, contact us and we'll add it for you.

Yes — once a booking request is created, both parties can communicate via the built-in messaging system on the booking page before confirming.
Use our contact us section and submit a change of ownership request stating the venue has changed ownership, upload a copy of either your Passport or Driving license and any other documentation that will support your request.
