I play acoustic guitar and sing. I cover songs from genres including Irish, Country, Folk, Indie, Pop, Americana and Classic Soul. A typical set might include songs by The Beatles, The Stones, The Stone Roses, Oasis, The Pogues , The Police, Bruce Springsteen, The Dubliners, Otis Redding, Neil Young, Drive By Truckers, Merle Haggard, John Denver, The Kinks, Sam Cooke, Ben E. King, Tyler Childers, John Prine, Inspiral Carpets,The Las, Shaboozy, Kris Kristofferson, Kenny Rogers and many other well loved and popular performers. I like to mix well known classics with amazing songs which are slightly less mainstream but equally as captivating. I listen to the audience, read the room and often take requests. I have a wide ranging repertoire from the 50s, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and beyond. I have played at venues for up to four hours (without a break) on many an occasion. I am well versed in running, hosting and organising musical events such as open mics and small festivals and I am a confident, friendly communicator with guests and audience members. I bring high energy, a sense of humour and a genuine love for music. People can relax as I play in the background or get up and dance when the singalong classics make their appearance. I play regularly at well established venues as they can rely on me to bring the energy and good vibes. I have played successfully all around Greater Manchester, the North West, Wales, Cumbria, the Midlands etc. I have an enhanced clean DBS certificate, my own transport and a full p.a. and all relevant equipment and spares to ensure a hassle free performance.
